WELCOME to the Queensland China Council’s website
About us
The Queensland China Council was established in October 1988 as a Queensland Government initiative to facilitate commercial, cultural, educational, scientific and technical interchange between Queensland and China. Over the last decade the Council has played a valuable role in enhancing the Queensland-China relationship and promoting Queensland export to Greater China regions.
The Council is funded by the Queensland Government and supported by a Secretariat based in Trade Queensland. Council Members are drawn from various sectors of the Queensland community. Members have a specific area of expertise relevant to the development of Queensland-China relations.
